Kayla Sharland

On Wednesday 7 August Kayla Sharland a black stick  came to school. Kayla talk about the Olympics. Then she did some skills with the people that play hockey.
In the skills lesson we learnt that you can lift the ball over the stick.

She's is a New Zealand  women's hockey player in the Black Sticks and she is one of the best hockey  in new Zealand. She inspired us to play hockey and to try our hardest.

Gracie and James.S our student councillors got a picture with Kayla.

Her hockey stick is 38.5cm long!
Kayla showed us pictures of her time at the Olympics. She got a picture with Usain Bolt!

  1. I have been impressed with hearing the interesting things people learnt from Kayla's visit. It looks like the hockey session was also helpful.
